Adding another milestone to the international release of the Chinese company’s new tablets. After benchmarks and rumors from the past weeks, this time we move to something much more tangible thanks to the European energy certification: Xiaomi Pad 8 and Pad 8 Pro are now just around the corner, and it is not to be ruled out that the presentation could take place as early as February.
The date of the new Xiaomi event is not official yet, but a well-known insider bets on February 28: the last day of the month and just before the Barcelona MWC for the presentation of the brand’s latest updates.
Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra are just the tip of the iceberg as there would be many other additions to the Chinese house’s ecosystem arriving. Starting with Xiaomi Tag, awaited for years and now finally a reality, up to the new generation of tablets.
Both the Xiaomi Pad 8 and Pad 8 Pro are practically confirmed: both have received the EPREL energy label, which previews the release in Europe. Battery and specs would not change compared with the Chinese models, launched in the homeland last September.
Additionally, an insider reveals the debut color options — Blue, Grey and Green — and the configurations for both devices. The base model would start from 8/128 GB, with an option of 256 GB. The Pro variant would raise the bar with 8/256 GB and 12/512 GB.
