The international launch of Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra is approaching more and more and now it really seems to be a matter of days. The flagship specifications have been known for some time, given the launch in China in September, so the European unknowns concern mainly the price (and other details such as memory and colors).
The two flagship models have been spotted in an online store and once again it seems Mi Fans can sleep soundly, awaiting the official event.
The base Xiaomi 17 has already appeared on a retailer’s site while the bigger Xiaomi 17 Ultra has been teased by a well-known insider. In any case, the appearance on yet another portal is an important detail, because it seems to confirm that there will be no price hikes.
The two phones appeared at €973 and €1,327, two indicative figures very close to last year’s launch prices. Xiaomi 17 is expected to return at €999 while the Camera Phone will be pricey, €1,499, but without increases compared to the predecessor.
The only uncertainty concerns the memory configurations: the base flagship starts at 12/512 GB and the higher variant at 16/512 GB. There don’t seem to be other configurations, but from previous leaks we know that at least Xiaomi 17 should start from 12/256 GB; at this point we can think it’s a store mistake but for confirmation we will necessarily have to wait for official details.
The launch event is expected to take place on 28 February, according to leaks, on the eve of Barcelona’s MWC (scheduled from 2 to 5 March). The base flagship color options should be blue, green and black while the battery would drop to 6,330 mAh, compared to the 7,000 mAh of the Chinese counterpart.
For Xiaomi 17 Ultra there would be the tones black, white and green and also the Camera Phone would have a capped battery (from 6,800 mAh in China to 6,000 mAh Global).
