The rumors in the past days had hinted at something, and finally the moment has arrived: the definitive leak for the Samsung Galaxy S26 series comes from Roland Quandt, one of the most trusted figures in the tech world. In a lengthy in-depth piece, the complete specifications of the base model and its bigger brothers Galaxy S26+ and S26 Ultra are unveiled, including details on the selling price.
As seen from the renders so far, the Samsung Galaxy S26 series does not reinvent the wheel but presents a proven aesthetic. The main camera is housed in a capsule-shaped module with a look reminiscent of the latest Galaxy Z Fold foldables.
The three smartphones will arrive in different form factors with displays of 6.3″, 6.7″ and 6.9″ diagonal: all will have a refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz and a Corning Gorilla Glass Armor 2 protective glass.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 and S26+ will share much in common, and the only difference will concern the screen; the real highlight will be (as usual) the Galaxy S26 Ultra with its larger quad-camera system, bigger battery and charging, and a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC.
The Qualcomm chipset will be in the For Galaxy version with a clock speed up to 4.74 GHz, slightly higher. In terms of memory, all models will have 12 GB of RAM and storage of 256/512 GB, while only the S26 Ultra will also offer 16 GB and 1 TB of storage.
No surprises for the cameras, which feature the same characteristics as the Galaxy S25 series: the new S26 and S26+ will offer a 50 MP main sensor, a 12 MP ultra-wide, and a 10 MP telephoto. No surprises either for the S26 Ultra: the same sensors as the predecessor — the main 200 MP, a 10 MP telephoto, and a 50 MP periscope telephoto, along with a 50 MP ultra-wide — but with a larger aperture in almost all cases.
As seen in the days prior, the smartphones support Qi2 charging but do not have integrated magnets — as with Apple’s MagSafe technology. The base model tops out at 15W wired charging while the S26+ rises to 25W, both with 15W wireless charging. The Ultra model goes to 45W wired and 25W wireless while batteries are 4,300/4,900/5,000 mAh.
For prices, we would start from €999 for the S26, then €1,269 for the S26+ variant, up to €1,469 for the S26 Ultra. These would be starting figures for the German market, so it remains to be seen if they will change for Italy. Below you will find all the leaked tech sheets of the series.
