Galaxy S26 Series: EU Energy Label Confirms Batteries and Battery Life

Those leaks that have been piling up for months weren’t enough; now the new European energy certification has arrived as well. The change introduced last summer is proving useful for getting glimpses of devices arriving in our region. This time it’s the turn of Samsung’s trio: both Galaxy S26 and its bigger brothers S26+ and Ultra have been spotted in the EPREL database, with some information on battery and longevity.

For those who may have missed something, the EU energy label was introduced in Europe from June 2025 and introduces a series of requirements for tech devices like smartphones and tablets. Manufacturers must accurately indicate the battery capacity, along with other details such as energy efficiency, cycle life, drop resistance, and the product’s reparability rating.

As for the members of the Samsung Galaxy S26 family, all three phones are rated IP68 against dust and water. For drop tests the devices achieved the rating A (the maximum) while for reparability they were all rated a C.

The three smartphones include batteries able to retain 80% of capacity up to 1,200 cycles of recharge. The smallest in the family packs a unit of 4,175 mAh with a runtime of 51 hours (on a single charge). The Galaxy S26+ rises to 4,755 mAh with a battery life of 55 hours; finally the Galaxy S26 Ultra offers 4,855 mAh and a battery life of 55 hours.

From a commercial standpoint, the batteries should be 4,300 mAh, 4,900 mAh and 5,000 mAh, in line with the leaks so far. If you want to learn more ahead of the launch event — set for February 25 — then take a look at our in-depth look dedicated to the S26 family.
