Samsung Confirms Galaxy Buds 4 Pro Again (by Mistake)

It’s not uncommon in the tech sector for previews of future devices to come from the very people who produce them. Samsung seems to have fallen into another internal oversight, inadvertently confirming the existence of its upcoming flagship line of earbuds.

The rumors concern the new Galaxy Buds series, which, according to what has emerged, will consist of two distinct variants: the standard model and the Pro version. The new “unofficial confirmation” comes directly from the company’s proprietary software, reinforcing the rumors that have been circulating for some time.

The latest evidence of the imminent arrival of these accessories was spotted inside LockStar, a module of the popular Good Lock app used for advanced customization of Galaxy smartphones.

As noted by attentive enthusiasts, particularly via the profiles @theonecid and @Shiyar567 on X, the app update includes widgets that explicitly reference both the Galaxy Buds 4 and the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro.

Although it has not been specified from which exact version of the app the incriminating screenshot originates, the presence of icons and names within the system interface leaves little to the imagination. This is not unfounded rumor or third-party concepts, but graphical elements inserted, probably by mistake or prematurely, by Samsungs own developers.

This kind of “internal leak” is often considered one of the most credible confirmations possible before an official announcement, suggesting that the product development is now in an advanced and definitive phase.

A Promise of Quality

Expectations for this new generation of True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds are particularly high, especially in light of recent history.

The leaked information suggests that Samsung has worked hard not only on a new design and on superior sound quality, but also on addressing the issues that emerged with previous models. The Galaxy Buds 3 series and its Pro counterpart, in fact, had suffered from some build-quality issues, including coating defects and charging troubles.

With the Galaxy Buds 4, the company seems intent on turning the page.

The focus appears to have shifted decisively toward hardware reliability, to offer a user experience that is premium not only in the technical specs on paper, but also in daily usage and durability.

The Launch with the S26 Series and the Pricing Strategy

As for timing, the schedule seems to be set. If all goes as planned, the official unveiling will take place on February 25, 2026, the date on which Samsung is expected to unveil the new Galaxy S26 to the world.

This choice to launch the accessories in conjunction with flagship smartphones confirms the intention to offer an integrated ecosystem and renewed in every aspect.

A particularly interesting detail concerns market positioning. Despite the anticipated improvements in design, audio, and build quality, rumors indicate that Samsung could keep the list price unchanged compared to its predecessors.
