The release of OxygenOS 16 is now complete and with the debut of the new version of the green robot’s OS (in beta), it’s time to look ahead. The work on OxygenOS 17 – based on Android 17 – has begun and we can already compile a list of OnePlus smartphones that could receive the long-awaited update.
The new OxygenOS 17 interface will offer improvements in terms of features and performance: rumors point to unprecedented fluidity, and there will certainly be AI-related news – now a consolidated trend in the mobile sector. Below you’ll find the provisional list of smartphones and tablets that should receive the update to Android 17.
The list is not official and is based on the update policies of the Chinese company: confirmation from OnePlus is needed, but as soon as we know more we will update this article with all the relevant news.

The current OxygenOS 16 was launched on October 16, 2025 and debuted on the latest-generation flagship. Consequently, we can expect OxygenOS 17 to be unveiled during the month of October and the first smartphone with the new native interface will be OnePlus 16 – already the subject of some rumors.
Regarding Android 17, as of this writing Google has released the first beta while the stable version is expected during the third quarter of this year.
Finally, the OxygenOS 16 beta began to surface last April, so it isn’t out of the question that the new interface will follow this timing to arrive in testing form.
