Compared to various Chinese rivals, OnePlus isn’t known for a crowded lineup: there have been attempts to liven things up, but by the end of the year we only have a handful of models.
Few but good, certainly a philosophy that clashes with Xiaomi’s — made of thousands of phones and as many rebrands. However this policy could feel heavy for those awaiting a new mid-range from the Chinese company. The next OnePlus Nord 6 should debut late compared to what was predicted.
The insider Yogesh Brar, one of the most reliable sources: according to reports, the new Nord series model should arrive with a slight delay. Nothing earth-shattering, but the many certifications the device has received suggested a launch as early as March.
However it seems that OnePlus Nord 6 has slipped to April, even though there is not yet a precise date. Additionally, according to the insider there is no trace of OnePlus Nord CE 6: it’s not out of the question that Pete Lau’s company is only planning a mid-range.
Last year we saw the launch of Nord 5 and Nord CE 5, respectively with Snapdragon and Dimensity (plus other small differences). Probably OnePlus decided to focus on a single phone or may opt for a launch at a later time (for Nord CE 6).
We are waiting for further news and some certainty from the brand; in the meantime we look with interest at the next Nord, given the specs. It should be a rebrand of the Chinese Turbo 6 cousin, of which below you can find the full technical sheet.
