The Nothing brand has always worked with a minimalist approach – both in software and in design – but without rejecting interesting “contaminations”. The iconic design of Nothing stems from the union of a minimalist style and a more techy and futuristic one, while the latest Phone (3a) Community Edition has taken off thanks to its colorful look.
The experiment with the latter can be considered successful, as for the upcoming Nothing Phone (4a) and (4a) Pro there seems to be a greater number of colorways than usual.
The Nothing company has started warming up the engines with cryptic teasers that preview the upcoming novelties. As usual the brand uses Pokémon for the code names of its devices: this time the targets are Bellsprout and Hoppip, two Grass-type monsters (Grass/Poison and Grass/Flying, to be precise).
As of writing we know that in the coming weeks various novelties will arrive for the series (a). Even if the teasers do not officially mention them we can say that the promos concern both Nothing Phone (4a) and (4a) Pro and the headphones Nothing HeadPhone (a).
In an image some colorways are shown, and from previous leaks we know that these are the possible colors of the over-ear headphones: they should debut in white, black, yellow, pink, and blue.
Now it remains to be seen whether the smartphone pair will offer the same colors, to accompany the new HeadPhone (a) also aesthetically. Given the Community Edition’s track record it isn’t out of the question that Nothing could propose a more colorful style for the new smartphones as well, but for now we are waiting for official details.
