Nothing Phone (4a) Series: specs and price leaks ahead of launch

Carl Pei’s company has confirmed the March event dedicated to the new smartphones Nothing Phone (4a) and (4a) Pro. So far the rumors have been limited, but now, with the date announced, leaks are intensifying. The latest updates offer a broad overview of the features of the two phones, along with a rich preview of prices in Europe.

Nothing Phone (4a) and (4a) Pro: specs, aesthetic differences and price — all leaks so far

The design of the new Nothing is still uncertain but it’s impossible not to expect a futuristic and minimalist look, with a semi-transparent chassis that hints at aesthetic elements. According to leaks, Nothing Phone (4a) will have a Glyph Bar, i.e., a back 63 mini-LED light system — with an aesthetic similar to that of the previous Phone (3a) and (3a) Pro.

The real novelty would be represented by Phone (4a) Pro: the bigger brother is expected to have a back Glyph Matrix panel, capable of displaying notifications and more. It would be the same mini screen as Phone (3), the flagship model of the previous generation (you can see it on the cover).

Compared to the previous series, Nothing seems intent on differentiating the new smartphones quite a bit. In the Phone (4a) family the base model and the Pro appear very different from each other, not only in aesthetics but also in specifications.

It seems that two distinct smartphones, or almost, and there is a reason: apparently Phone (4), the flagship model, will not be released.

Officially the company doesn’t want to flood the market with new premium devices just to meet a calendar deadline. It is very likely that the memory shortage has given a push toward this strategy.

The release date of the new Nothing is set for the 5 March: leaks continue with the alleged prices in Italy. Below you will find the configurations of the various models, together with the figure for our country (according to the leaks).
