Just a few days after the first leak images, we return to talk about Huawei Band 11 Pro — this time with a flood of details ahead of its debut. The look of the fitness tracker becomes more refined and elegant, for a more premium appearance: the features will be no less, staying in a price range in line with the category.
The latest news comes directly from Roland Quandt, so we can consider it credible (we’re talking about one of the most reliable insiders in the tech world). Huawei Band 11 Pro will offer a larger AMOLED screen than its predecessor, going from 1.47″ to 1.62″ with a resolution of 482 x 286 pixels and a density of 347 PPI.
The tracker will not only be bigger but also brighter, with a peak of a whopping 2,000 nit. The case is rated IP67 with water resistance up to 5 ATM and is made of aluminum; there would also be a variant in a titanium-aluminum alloy, for a more premium touch.
The display features curved edges while the body of the smartband is slightly rounded — the previous Band 10 is more angular. It weighs about 14 grams without the strap, while on board we find a 300 mAh battery, for a battery life of around 10 days.
Huawei Band 11 Pro also includes GPS, along with the usual health and activity tracking features. Very little is known about Huawei Band 11 standard: the base model is expected to have a 180 mAh battery, but there are no other details.
The launch of the new smartband is expected at the February 26 event, during which other new products will also be announced (Watch GT Runner 2, FreeBuds 5 Pro, Mate 80 Pro and MatePad Mini). Regarding price, the Huawei Band 11 Pro should debut at a price between €50 and €70, depending on the model; sales in Germany would start in early March, so it’s likely the same for us.
