After appearing on the Global channels (last December), the new mid-range of the Magic series officially arrives in Italy. This is a smartphone that continues the family tradition: plenty of elegance, refined color options and maximum durability. However Honor Magic 8 Lite raises the bar by offering Battery Phone–level performance, but without impacting its size!
The standout feature of the new arrival is undoubtedly the renewed silicon-carbon battery: compared to the 6,600 mAh of the predecessor, the Honor Magic 8 Lite pushes up to a 7,500 mAh unit — but without bulk. The chassis becomes slightly thinner (7.8 mm thick) and the weight remains unchanged; additionally, dust and water resistance is improved, now with an IP68/IP69 classification.
In terms of autonomy the company promises notable improvements, and with support for 66W SuperCharge the phone is ready in a flash. Also present is the reverse charging feature, useful to fully leverage the huge battery: when needed, the Honor Magic 8 Lite can be used as a practical power bank to recharge other devices.
The battery perks continue at software level as well, with the smart thermal management system that balances performance even in extreme conditions — from -30°C to 55°C.
Honor Eye Comfort display is designed for eye care thanks to PWM Dimming at 3.840 Hz, dynamic dimming, low blue light emission and the AI Defocus function. For the camera department we have the return of the 108 MP sensor with optical stabilization at a level compatible with CIPA 5.0 and the possibility to leverage various AI features to enhance photos during editing.
Performance is entrusted to the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 by Qualcomm, supported by a liquid cooling system with a vapor chamber of 3,490 mm2. Finally, full support for Gemini is present: Google Assistant is available by default and there are also other AI features (for example for writing).
The new Honor Magic 8 Lite lands in Italy in Forest Green, Midnight Black and Reddish Brown colors, priced at €379.9 for the 8/256 GB base version. The 8/512 GB variant rises to €429.9 and exclusive bundles are also available via the official store:
