The ultra-durable wearables market welcomes a new protagonist: Amazfit has officially unveiled T-Rex Ultra 2, the most sophisticated addition to its renowned line of rugged smartwatches, designed specifically for athletes and explorers operating in environments where unpredictability is the norm.
The T-Rex Ultra 2 chassis has been designed to withstand the toughest stresses, both above and below the water’s surface. The device’s aesthetic and functional core is represented by a 5‑grade titanium bezel and caseback, paired with a 1.5″ AMOLED display protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. In addition to impact resistance, the watch boasts a water immersion rating up to 10 ATM and a dual underwater certification.
64 GB of built-in memory allow you to store maps, music and activity data directly on the watch.
On the navigation front, the T-Rex Ultra 2 introduces for the first time in the series preloaded color global maps in the Zepp app, which can be easily installed on the device for complete offline use. Supported by six satellite systems, GPS tracking provides fast and accurate positioning, enhanced by smart features such as automatic rerouting and offline route planning up to 100 km.
To optimize energy management and pacing during exertion, Amazfit has introduced the Checkpoint Display smart alerts, enabling monitoring of vital points of interest such as water sources or shelters, together with advanced ascent segmentation that provides detailed elevation profiles to prepare for imminent altitude changes.
