The first impression of Amazfit Active 3 Premium reveals a design in line with that of the previous Active 2. The smartwatch features a high-strength stainless steel case and a 1,32″ AMOLED display protected by a sapphire glass. One of its technical highlights is the display’s peak brightness, reaching 3,000 nit, ensuring perfect visibility of data and maps even under the brightest sunlight.

Despite the robustness of the materials, the device maintains a light profile with a weight of only 38 grams. For those seeking tangible support in planning, the device integrates the Zepp Coach system, an intelligent coach that proposes personalized plans for various distances, from 5 km to the full marathon.

The software goes beyond providing rigid tables, adapting workouts based on the user’s performance and recovery. In addition to running, the watch supports over 170 sports modes, including HYROX workouts and strength sessions with automatic exercise recognition. The accuracy of the tracking is entrusted to the BioTracker PPG sensor, which continuously analyzes heart rate, blood oxygen saturation and stress levels.

One of the most practical aspects for a runner is the ability to train with total freedom, without having to carry a smartphone. Active 3 Premium thus allows loading offline maps directly onto the watch and navigating accurately thanks to support for six satellite positioning systems.
