Redmi Turbo 5 Max coming with a super battery: the ‘Max’ fever continues

Like a bolt from the blue, Xiaomi announced a new model in the Turbo family. For the first time there will also be Redmi Turbo 5 Max, a model characterized by an exceptional battery life and an affordable price (but with a flagship-level experience).

The device will debut in China this month, and it could somehow reach us as well, given the close link between the series and POCO.

At the moment, details are still scant and Xiaomi has only a simple teaser. Redmi Turbo 5 Max will be announced in January (in China) and will arrive at a price around 2,500 yuan, about €300 at current exchange rates.

As anticipated at the outset, Lei Jun’s company promises longer battery life and a top-tier experience. This is the first model in the Turbo lineup with the Max badge, but it’s not the first Xiaomi sub-brand phone seen since the debut of Redmi K90 Pro Max last October.

The Global version with POCO
