After rumors about Honor Magic 8 Pro Air and its inspired style, here is another upcoming phone that could have a familiar look. Redmi Turbo 5 Max is the protagonist of the first leak images, which hint at a change in style for the series. However they are not convincing and the fake could be around the corner — indeed it seems plausible.
Based on what has emerged from a series of images published on Weibo, the upcoming Redmi Turbo 5 Max will arrive with a design inspired by Cupertino. Although the ‘Max’ label suggests a large device, it seems the look could instead be inspired by the iPhone Air, the ultra-thin par excellence.
However it’s worth paying particular attention: the images appear to be generated with artificial intelligence, so the fake risk is high. At this point there are two possibilities: the renders show the possible design, based on rumors; or it’s just fake renders and nothing else.
Anyway the wait won’t be long since the new Turbo model is expected to launch in January in China — given the brand’s ties with POCO, it’s not to be ruled out that Redmi Turbo 5 Max could arrive in a global version — perhaps as the POCO X8 Pro Max (whose existence has been confirmed by certification).
