Despite the debut of the X300 series and the Ultra model on the horizon, the Chinese brand still has a soft spot for the previous generation. It has shown this in these hours with the Global launch (for now only in India) of vivo X200T, another addition to the lineup.
The device mirrors the style and features of its higher-end siblings, with a look that nods to high-end Camera Phones and a hardware setup based on MediaTek.
The new arrival presents itself as a high-end alternative to the brand’s latest releases and is equipped with flagship features. vivo X200T showcases the series’ iconic design, with a large circular camera module: inside sits a triple sensor array of 50 + 50 + 50 MP with ZEISS optics, optical image stabilization, and a periscope telephoto lens.
The front section features a punch-hole with a 32 MP selfie camera; the flat AMOLED display measures 6.67″ diagonally with a peak brightness of 5,000 nits.
Just like vivo X200, the device relies on a MediaTek chipset – in this case the Dimensity 9400+. The phone sits a notch below the current vivo X300, both (base and Pro) equipped with the latest Dimensity 9500.
Among other features we have LPDDR5X Ultra memory and UFS 4.1, 6,200 mAh battery with 90W charging, 40W wireless charging support, and Android 16 (with OriginOS 6). The Chinese house has promised 5 years of Android updates and as many as 7 years of security patches.
The new vivo X200T has debuted in India from around €551 at the current exchange rate: we are dealing with a high-end model that acts as the spearhead for the premium lineup. At the moment there are no details on release in other countries, but if there are any updates we will update the article with all the details of the case.
