The new vivo V70 is getting closer to launch and now we also have confirmation of the European release. The device has been spotted thanks to the energy label; in the meantime we have gathered for you all the rumors so far and traced the profile of the next model in the V family.
The imminent vivo V70 has received the EPREL energy label, the new European certification for smartphones and tablets that came into effect last June, which serves to clearly indicate the energy efficiency of devices.
Thanks to it we learn that the new vivo packs a 6,320 mAh battery, which should translate to 6,500 mAh commercially. In addition the phone is certified IP68 against dust and water.
At this point the launch in Europe is confirmed, but it remains to be seen whether the device will arrive in Italy — although it is not to be ruled out since the V series has found space with us on various occasions.
Meanwhile the rumors about the series certainly aren’t lacking: the launch is expected by mid-February and two smartphones should debut, at least for the Indian market, namely vivo V70 and V70 Elite.
The elder brother vivo V70 Elite should be a rebrand of vivo S50, a device launched in China in December. Specifications and design would remain the same, except for the addition of ZEISS optics – absent on the Chinese model.
We are talking about a 6.59″ phone with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and a triple camera setup of 50 + 8 + 50 MP with a periscope telephoto lens equipped with 3X optical zoom.
vivo V70 should feature the same specs but with different color options and the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset.
