Concert tickets directly on your Galaxy Wallet: Samsung and Vivaticket announce a partnership

A new strategic agreement has been signed between Samsung Electronics Italia and Vivaticket, one of the leading international operators in the sale of entry tickets for cultural and entertainment events.

The collaboration aims to integrate the respective technology platforms to enable the management of tickets purchased directly within the Samsung ecosystem.

This synergy addresses the growing demand for dematerialization of entry titles, enabling users to centralize documents and passes on their mobile device, eliminating the need for paper supports or searching for files in email inboxes at the moment of entry.

The new functionality is based on implementing a direct link between the sales portal and the digital wallet management app.

At the end of the purchase process on Vivaticket’s website, the user will see the option “Add to Samsung Wallet“. Through this function, the entry ticket is immediately transferred to the phone’s secure storage.

The system has been designed to ensure an easy-to-use experience even on the move: once saved, the ticket becomes accessible not only via the phone’s screen, but also through Galaxy smartwatches.

This extension to wearable devices represents a key element for accessibility at turnstiles, allowing the user to display the code needed for entry with a simple wrist movement, making check procedures faster and reducing queues at entrances to concerts, exhibitions, and shows.

The single-wallet strategy

The operation sits within a broader context of evolving digital services, where the smartphone is increasingly taking on the role of a universal credential collector and payment tool.

Samsung Wallet, the application dedicated to this function, is already designed to securely store credit cards, loyalty cards, promotional vouchers and boarding passes.

The addition of Vivaticket’s ticketing services further completes this ecosystem, giving the user the ability to manage every aspect of their digital life, from payments to leisure, through a single interface.

From Vivaticket’s perspective, the agreement represents another step toward diversifying the ways to access its services.

The company continues its effort to make its tickets compatible with the major digital wallet solutions on the market, guaranteeing customers flexibility that transcends the operating system or the device used, while in this specific case leveraging the hardware and software peculiarities of the Samsung environment.

How to save Vivaticket tickets in Samsung Wallet

Access to this new mode of ticket management does not require complex procedures, but it is dependent on the software update of the involved applications.

The feature is technically available to all Samsung Galaxy device owners that support the Samsung Wallet app.

To activate the service and avoid compatibility issues during the ticket saving phase, you must ensure that the Wallet app is updated to the latest version released.

The update can be downloaded through official channels, namely Samsung’s Galaxy Store or the Google Play Store.

With the installation of the latest release, the quick-add button on the Vivaticket site will become fully operational, syncing purchases with the device.
