Last December, Samsung stunned everyone with its first tri-fold smartphone: not an absolute novelty (Huawei got there first) but still an important step forward, which could give great visibility to this format.
Within a few months of its domestic release and after its debut in the US, Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold would be on track to arrive in Europe as well. This is reported by Roland Quandt, an insider known for the reliability of his leaks.
The Samsung tri-fold will go on sale in the United States starting January 30, at a price of $2,899. We are talking about a hefty sum, especially when compared with South Korea — where the smartphone was launched at a price around €2,100.
Initially planned for a very limited number of markets, according to what has emerged, Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold should arrive in Europe as well. As mentioned in the opening, this is a report from Roland Quandt, one of the most reliable insiders in the tech landscape.
The leaker regards the release in Germany as certain while he does not comment on other countries; consequently we do not know if it will arrive in Italy. The debut is expected by the end of the year, so there is still quite some time ahead of us.
Anyway, the interesting data concerns the price: German users may have to shell out as much as over €3,000 to get their hands on this particular Samsung-branded tech jewel.
