Price hikes on the horizon for the Samsung Galaxy S26 series, but there is good news for the Ultra

The new smartphones in the Samsung Galaxy S26 series will arrive later than usual. The launch of the lineup is expected to be by the end of February and yet we already have a fairly clear picture of what to expect.

The latest rumors come from Roland Quandt – one of the most reliable insiders on the scene – with the leaked prices of the entire range. Samsung could adopt a user-friendly strategy, with a focus on those aiming for the Ultra model.

The memory crisis has had a significant impact on the tech sector’s inner workings and its effects will continue for quite a while. The same Samsung chief has hinted at the possible price increases that will affect the series and now we have some additional details thanks to the Swedish retailers.

This is a market we can’t rely on completely, since they don’t use the euro, but it’s still a useful look to understand how Samsung should move.

In general, the base Samsung Galaxy S26 should see a drastic price increase, while the S26+ would remain almost unchanged. The most evident hikes would be for higher memory configurations, namely those of 256 GB – since there won’t be 128 GB variants.

Paradoxically, the Galaxy S26 Ultra should cost less than its predecessor – while the 1 TB variant would remain unchanged. Samsung has decided to bear part of the costs to make its new top-of-the-line even more competitive and desirable. Below you will find a table showing the prices in Swedish kronor for the S25 series and the rumors for the S26 lineup.
