The brand’s ultra-conservative approach will continue with Samsung Galaxy A57, the new 5G mid-range expected in the coming weeks. The smartphone has been certified by TENAA with many technical details, and now the first images are also added: predictably, we’ll be dealing with a new phone but with a look that is quite familiar.
The design of Samsung Galaxy A57 5G doesn’t seem to change one bit from that of the current A56: same triple camera in a capsule module (with the LED flash outside), straight edges, a flat screen with a punch-hole for the selfie camera. Probably the real difference will be the color options, given the presence of a new violet shade.
The specifications have already been anticipated by the TENAA certification itself, and the missing details have been filled in by leaks. Based on what’s emerged, the look won’t be the only familiar detail: much of the technical sheet also mirrors that of the A56, with the exception of the chipset – the unannounced Exynos 1680.
The real change will be in handling as the Samsung Galaxy A57 will offer a slimmer body and a lighter weight: 6.9 mm and 182 grams against 7.4 mm and 197 grams of the current model. Regarding the release, we look to February, before the debut of the Galaxy S26 lineup.
