Samsung’s 2026 begins in the low-budget segment with the new Galaxy A07: it is the brand’s most affordable 5G model, with several improvements over its predecessor and a large battery. Here are all the details revealed by the brand’s official store, although for now the phone is only available in certain markets.

The design of the Samsung Galaxy A07 5G reflects its economical nature: the front hosts a panel with a pronounced chin and a droplet notch at the top; the rear is equipped with a dual camera in a capsule-shaped module, accompanied by the LED flash. The device features a squared shape with rounded corners.

The display is an LCD panel of 6.7″ diagonal with HD+ resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 800 nits. Compared to the predecessor we have a higher refresh rate, although the notch remains.

The battery also improves, with a 20% increase over the previous generation: it is a 6,000 mAh unit, more than enough for respectable autonomy. Security is entrusted to the side-mounted fingerprint reader while the chassis is IP54 rated.

The camera setup relies on a 50 MP sensor accompanied by a 2 MP depth sensor and an 8 MP selfie camera. The heart of the budget phone Samsung is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, aided by 4/6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The software is based on Android 16 (with UI 8.0) and up to 6 years of updates are planned (including security patches and major Android updates).

Available in black and purple colors, Samsung Galaxy A07 5G measures 167.4 x 77.4 x 8.2 mm and weighs 199 grams. Completing the package are 5G dual-SIM support, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.3 and a USB-C 2.0 port.

For now the new budget phone has been announced only in Thailand, with a starting price of around €150 at current exchange rate. Like the rest of the A0 lineup, it’s likely the device won’t officially arrive in Italy, but will be available through third-party sellers.
