A little like a Casio Ring Watch, a bit like a smartwatch: this is the idea behind the Chinese manufacturer’s latest creation. It is Rogbid Fusion, a 2-in-1 device that comes with a tiny body and the possibility of dual use: as a practical smart ring or with a “classic” smartwatch. Here are all the details of the most outrageous hybrid of the moment: is the rival to Galaxy Ring and Oura models here?
The body of the device measures just 21 x 20.6 x 8.2 mm with a featherweight of around 14 grams. Thanks to its Milanese mesh adjustable strap, Rogbid Fusion can be worn as a ring while the kit also includes a second nylon strap to use it as a wristwatch. The wearable thus performs the dual function of smart ring or smartwatch (depending on the user’s tastes and needs).
The mini wearable features an OLED display of just 0.49″, useful for viewing basic information – such as the time, heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and sleep data. For all extended details, just open the smartphone app.
Its compact size does not limit its functionality: Rogbid Fusion supports over 100 sports modes and is compatible with both Android and iOS smartphones. Water resistance up to 5 ATM makes it ideal for swimming, while in terms of battery life the company states up to 5 days of use. The case is made of metal, for an elegant touch without sacrificing robustness.
This particular wearable was launched at a price of $49.9 and is available through the official store. Rogbid Fusion is certainly a stylish device but could represent a welcome alternative for those seeking a smart ring different from the usual or a smartwatch with particularly compact dimensions.
