Done and dusted: after showing the world its 10.000 mAh prototype, the Asian brand has finally transformed an experiment into a commercial model. Realme P4 Power is a mid-range device that doesn’t miss anything and offers something more: a colossal battery of 10.001 mAh, a quantity befitting a Battery Phone in a body of human size – thanks to silicon-carbon technology.
When the first rumors about this device began circulating, skepticism was sky-high. However already Honor Win has shown that it is possible to realize a Battery Phone without excessive size and with uncompromising specs.
Realme P4 Power also keeps its promises, offering the right balance between hardware, design and price. The look is definitely over-the-top, more like a gaming smartphone than a traditional device; the silver model is the most sober, while the blue and orange variants are quite eye-catching.
The front features an AMOLED display of 6.8″ diagonal with a smooth refresh rate of 144 Hz and up to 6.500 nit of peak brightness. In addition Realme has implemented the AI Hyper Vision+ chip, which enhances the panel’s performance in various scenarios (including gaming).
The heart of the device is the SoC Dimensity 7400 Ultra from MediaTek, with a robust liquid cooling system featuring a vapor chamber to cool the hottest cores. For the camera department we have a 50 MP Sony IMX882 main sensor paired with an ultra-wide, together with a 16 MP selfie camera.
Realme P4 Power does not compromise on durability and offers a waterproof chassis rated up to IP69; there is also military-grade certification. The real highlight is — clearly — the 10.001 mAh battery: gigantic, with 80W charging support and the possibility of using 27W reverse charging. In practice it’s like having a phone but also a gigantic power bank, all in a 9 mm thick form factor.
