Last summer Realme launched the budget phone Note 70, a device that also arrived in Italy as Note 70T (with minor differences) and at a super affordable price. Now we know that the follow-up to the entry level is on its way: Realme Note 80 has been certified by various authorities with the very first details.
The phone was initially spotted with only the code RMX5388, in Europe as well as in some Asian countries. In recent hours a new certification revealed the device’s identity: it is indeed Realme Note 80, with the commercial name confirmed.
Unfortunately there is still no information on the specifications: the only leaked detail concerns charging at 15W. This should not come as a surprise given the budget nature of the range.
In Italy the alternative version Realme Note 70T, with less battery than Note 70 but identical design and features. Almost certainly the new model will be an entry-level phone with 4G connectivity, featuring a basic chipset (perhaps a Unisoc solution) and modest specifications.
The device we received is equipped with a 6.74″ HD LCD display and is powered by the Unisoc T7250 chip, all powered by a 6,000 mAh battery. Onboard we find a 13 MP camera and a 5 MP selfie sensor, inside a waterdrop notch. A budget device but it doesn’t give up MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability (with IP54 rating against dust and liquids).
Realme Note 70T arrived in Italy at a price of €109 and is currently available on Amazon at €89: a basic and inexpensive phone, perfect for those seeking a model without too many pretenses — spending little.
