Realme Neo 8 Spotted by vivo, nods to gaming phones

The launch of Realme Neo 8 is expected in January, but for the moment the Chinese company has not yet begun teasing fans. In the meantime, this task falls to the leakers, with leaked images and details about the specifications.

The next Realme flagship killer will arrive in China but could be important for us in the West as well. The link between the Neo series and the Global GT has always been very tight, and it is not to be ruled out that the device may surface in Europe as the international Realme GT 8 international.

Anyway, for now this remains just a hypothesis — albeit based on prior experience — so let’s move toward more tangible shores. The Realme GT 8 has been spotted in a purported live photo, arriving a few days after the leaked shot of the retail box.

The photo in question shows a device equipped with a square camera module with rounded corners, next to a system with RGB LED lights. The rear cover — metallic in color — seems to show some details that remain hard to discern.

The overall impression is that it’s a phone looking toward gaming phones, although we’ll have to wait a bit longer for the full design.

An overview of the specifications

Below you’ll find an early draft of the spec sheet, based on rumors so far. According to leaks, the Realme Neo 8 will feature an impressive Samsung display of top quality, while the heart of the device would be the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. For now, details about the camera department are missing.
