The latest flagship from the Chinese company has reached a significant milestone, ranking fifth in the DxOMark ranking dedicated to smartphone cameras. OPPO Find X9 Pro has demonstrated superior capabilities compared to Honor Magic 8 Pro, officially entering the exclusive group of the best photographic devices currently available on the market.
In the global ranking, it sits just after Huawei Pura 80 Ultra, vivo X300 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro, and the previous OPPO Find X8 Ultra.
With its 166 points in total, OPPO Find X9 Pro sits a notch above Honor Magic 8 Pro, achieving what the rival failed to accomplish: entering the Top 5.
The heart of the flagship’s photography experience lies in a three-sensor system that ensures excellent versatility in every shooting condition. The configuration includes a 50 MP main sensor with optical stabilization, a 50 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 200 MP periscope telephoto lens, also equipped with OIS.
This combination enables extremely precise versatility from the broadest panoramas to the finest details captured at long distances, covering every need. The device stands out for video recording quality, offering smooth stabilization even in motion.
The DxOMark team particularly praised the color consistency, the natural tones, and the exposure accuracy observed during the tests. The surpassing of the Honor Magic 8 Pro was determined by OPPO’s superiority in handling the telephoto zoom and image stability, factors that positively affected the score.
However, the tests detected some practical challenges in low-light shooting. In difficult lighting conditions, Find X9 Pro may show more noise and some uncertainty in autofocus tracking.
And now all that remains is to look at the next OPPO Find X9 Ultra: the Camera Phone is expected to perform brilliantly thanks to the implementation of two 200 MP sensors, for the main module and the periscope telephoto lens.
