OPPO accelerates on foldables: Find N7 will be the rival to the iPhone Fold

After a period of slowdown in the foldable sector, OPPO seems to have decided to press the accelerator to the floor, and the reason would involve Apple. While we await its new foldable — the first model of 2026 — we are already looking at OPPO Find N7 and the future of the series.

This time the brand is reportedly going all out to seriously challenge the iPhone Fold: the appointment is set for September, according to leaks in these hours.

In the coming weeks, OPPO Find N6, the first foldable of the year and also the first with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The device has been the subject of many rumors, and we now know almost everything: only official confirmation can provide it.

Based on the latest news, it seems the Asian manufacturer won’t stop there for 2026. OPPO Find N7 should arrive as early as September to directly compete with iPhone Fold: Cupertino’s foldable is expected together with the iPhone 18 series.

The next Find N7 would have the same camera system as the Find N6 — with a 200 MP sensor — and an inward-folding display; however it is expected to be wider and take a form factor reminiscent of the original OPPO Find N and similar to the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Wide Fold. From the N6 model it should also borrow the 6,000 mAh battery with 80W charging (50W wireless).
