OPPO Find N6 certified in China, ultra-fast charging revealed

2026 is shaping up to be a pivotal year for the evolution of foldable smartphones, and OPPO seems intent on getting ahead of the curve, positioning itself at the forefront with its upcoming foldable flagship.

Recent certifications obtained in China have unveiled many of the features of the upcoming OPPO Find N6.

The appearance in the databases of certifying bodies has confirmed the existence of two distinct variants of the phone, identified by model numbers PLP110 and PLP120.

If the first code refers to the standard version of the device, the second indicates a more advanced variant characterized by support for the BeiDou satellite connectivity, a capability increasingly in demand in the premium segment of the Asian market.

One of the most interesting aspects revealed by the documentation concerns the charging speed, always a point where foldable devices lag behind traditional ones.

OPPO appears to have integrated on the Find N6 support for wired charging at 80W. This speed, paired with a generous battery that rumor suggests will reach around 6,000 mAh, should provide operability capable of covering entire days of heavy use, drastically reducing the time spent plugged into a power outlet.

In addition, there will be support for 50W wireless charging, offering complete versatility.

Under the hood, driving this gem will be the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The choice of this processor, based on a 3 nm architecture and equipped with new-generation Oryon cores, will ensure exceptional performance in multitasking as well as AI applications.

To support this compute power, the device is expected to offer RAM LPDDR5X configurations ranging from 12 to 16 GB, with internal UFS 4.1 storage that could go up to 1 TB, eliminating any concerns about space for data and apps.

Despite the impressive hardware, OPPO seems to have worked hard on the chassis engineering to keep the device manageable. The expected weight is about 225 grams, an extremely competitive figure that would make it very similar to its predecessor in terms of ergonomics and thickness.

Durability will be guaranteed by IPX8 certifications or even IPX9, ensuring above-average water resistance.

The launch is near but will it come out of China?

Regarding the official launch, the timing suggests a presentation in China right after the Lunar New Year, i.e., after February 17, 2026.

Although the debut will initially take place in its homeland, international users can look to the future with optimism: it is very likely that OPPO Find N6 will reach global markets, including Europe.

However, following the commercial strategies already adopted by the BBK Electronics group in the past, the device could arrive in the Old Continent under a different guise, likely as the new chapter in the OnePlus Open series, keeping intact the specifications that make it one of the most anticipated foldables of the year.
