Xiaomi 17 Pro has a rival with a rear display: the new trend in smartphones?

The first clone of the Xiaomi 17 Pro has arrived from the Indian brand Lava: Blaze Duo 3 is the new smartphone from the company, characterized by a rear display and a design that recalls that of its Chinese rival. It is a curious device, inspired by the Xiaomi model, inheriting some features, but trying to find its own identity.

The latest Xiaomi 17 Pro is a compact high-end device, while the Max counterpart steps up by offering a larger display (6.9″ diagonal). Lava Blaze Duo 3 represents the middle ground, opting for a 6.67″ AMOLED display with Full HD resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate and a central punch hole.

The device features a slightly squared shape, while the Xiaomi’s phone opts for softer lines. The camera module closely imitates that of the 17 Pro but with two differences: the Lava terminal uses a single camera and the rear AMOLED display stops at 1.6″ – compared to the 2.7″ and 2.9″ of 17 Pro and Pro Max.
