As for the innovations, the foldable arrives with a slightly redesigned look compared to Mate X6: equipped with a vegan leather Nebula Red or Black cover, the Mate X7 presents a narrower and more angular camera module but still with an elegant style.

The smartphone is equipped with a dual display, the external 6.49″ and a large internal panel of 8″ with a peak brightness of 2,500 nits – for a flawless viewing experience even in bright sunlight. Both screens feature PWM Dimming at 1,440 Hz and an LTPO 2.0 refresh rate from 1 Hz to 120 Hz.

Despite its multitasking-oriented form factor, Huawei Mate X7 is equipped with a noteworthy camera setup thanks to the Ultra Lightning HDR sensor 1/1.28″ and variable aperture (f/1.4-4.0), paired with a macro telephoto with periscope zoom.

In style and performance, durability is also a priority: the phone features a foldable display protected by a 3-layer Ultra-Tought structure. The outside panel uses Kunlun Crystal Armour glass for extra resistance. Finally, the Mate X7 is rated IP59 and IP59 against water and dust.
