Las Vegas’ CES 2026 witnessed one of the most unexpected and ambitious debuts in the automotive and tech landscape: Dreame, the Chinese giant known so far for its intelligent cleaning systems, officially unveiled its first sports car, Nebula Next 01.
Known as part of the strategic Project Star line, this concept represents the culmination of a path begun in 2025, when the company announced its entry into the electric vehicle sector. The car is not just a styling exercise, but an advanced model aimed at directly competing with the main rivals in its class.
Performance declared for Nebula Next 01 positions the vehicle in the supercar bracket, thanks to a system based on four independent electric motors, each capable of delivering 469 HP, for a combined power that reaches 1,903 HP (1,399 kW). The configuration allows the car to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.8 seconds, a result that surpasses the performance of established rivals such as Xiaomi SU7 Ultra.
To handle such stresses, Dreame has implemented a Super Boost mode that guarantees an instant 30% power increase, supported by a direct cooling system for the motors that keeps efficiency constant.
From an engineering perspective, Nebula Next 01 features a structure combining 2000 MPa tempered steel and broad carbon fiber sections, achieving a torsional stiffness exceeding 45,000 Nm/deg, a value that even surpasses Porsche Taycan.
Aerodynamics were manicured to the extreme, achieving a drag coefficient of only 0.185 Cd, facilitated by a design that eliminates door handles and integrates active components such as the fixed rear spoiler and a double-layer diffuser.
The Dreame strategy is not limited to presenting a trade show prototype, but outlines a concrete plan for the near future. The company confirmed its intention to start production in 2027, with the aim of bringing Nebula Next 01 concept technologies to future models of the Kosmera series – the brand’s true EV lineup.
