If you were looking for an excuse to bring home a drone of the highest quality, the opportunity has arrived thanks to the new promotional campaign dedicated to Antigravity A1, the first consumer system capable of uniting the first-person flight (FPV) with the 360-degree video recording in 8K resolution.
From January 27 to February 9, the company has activated a series of immediate discounts that make purchasing this device decidedly more appealing for both beginners and professionals.
What makes Antigravity A1 a peculiar product is the logic with which it approaches content creation. Unlike traditional drones, where the pilot must constantly worry about pointing the camera at the subject, A1 introduces the concept of “reframing” in post-production.
Thanks to the dual sensor of 1/1.28 inch, the drone records everything happening around it. The user can therefore fly freely and decide the framing only at a later moment, comfortably seated at the computer or via the dedicated app.
The technical specs support this creative freedom: videos can be captured in 8K at 30 fps for maximum definition, or in 5.2K at 60 fps and 4K at 100 fps for those who need slow motion.
Image stability is entrusted to the technology FlowState, essential to compensate for turbulence, while the drone’s design includes a retractable landing gear that disappears completely from view, ensuring the “invisible drone” effect so sought after in 360-degree videos.
The flight experience is managed through an innovative hardware duo. On one side we find the Vision headset, a lightweight device (only 340 grams) equipped with dual display Micro-OLED 2,560 x 2,560 pixels, which allows you to orient the view simply by moving your head.
On the other hand there is the Grip controller, which translates hand movements into flight trajectories, making piloting intuitive even for those who have never handled a traditional remote control.
From a regulatory standpoint, Antigravity A1 sits in a strategic band. With the standard battery, the take-off weight stops at 249 grams, falling into the Class C0. This detail is crucial for use in Europe, as it allows operation with fewer bureaucratic restrictions compared to heavier drones.
However, it is worth noting that using high-capacity batteries (present in the Infinity and Ultimate bundles) pushes the weight above the 250-gram threshold, thus changing the operating category.
The circle closes with the software ecosystem. The Antigravity app and the desktop suite offer AI-based tools such as Deep Track, which automatically keeps the subject at the center of the frame, or quick editing features to create effects like the so-called “Tiny Planet”.
Automatic flight features, such as Sky Path and Sky Genie, also allow you to perform complex maneuvers with a single touch.
The promotional campaign offers substantial price reductions on all configurations available in the official store. The company aims to lower the entry barrier for a technology that, until recently, required much higher budgets.
Detailing the offer, the entry package, named Standard Bundle, is offered at €1,189, guaranteeing a net savings of €210 versus the original price. This configuration includes everything you need to start: the drone, the Vision headset and the Grip controller.
For those requiring more autonomy, the Explorer Bundle drops to €1,359, with a final discount of €240, offering extra batteries and transport accessories.
Moving up a level we find the Infinity Bundle, ideal for those who prioritize the duration of flight sessions thanks to the included three high-capacity batteries: the price reaches €1,439, with a savings of €260.
However, the most feature-rich and complete offer is represented by the Ultimate Bundle. Priced at €1,559 versus the €1,819 list price, this bundle is designed to provide a ready-to-use creative arsenal: in addition to the Infinity equipment, it adds a 256 GB microSD card, the landing pad and the lens replacement kit.
It’s interesting to note how each package maintains the core equipment of the Antigravity experience: the gestural control system and the high-definition headset are always included.
