Beyond the official renders, the first real images of Xiaomi 18 Pro are circulating, and what is striking is especially the back: the cameras would now sit flush with the secondary display, without the protrusion that characterized the camera module of the Xiaomi 17 Pro. The photos come from the leaker Digital Chat Station, who posted them on Weibo in the past few hours.
Xiaomi 18 Pro in real images: flush cameras, Leica camera module and launch window

According to images shared by the insider, the Xiaomi 18 Pro’s rear cameras would align perfectly with the secondary display present on the back of the device, already introduced on the Pro model of the previous generation.
The aesthetic advantage, according to what the photos show, would be evident compared to Xiaomi 17 Pro, whose camera module showed a protrusion clearly visible relative to the rest of the chassis. The company has decided to bet big on the rear screen, introducing various improvements compared to the previous version.

Regarding the camera system, the images and rumors gathered so far suggest a Leica triple-sensor system with a focal length range from 17 mm to 75 mm, a periscope optical zoom up to 3.2x, an f/1.67 aperture on the main sensor and f/2.4 on the telephoto lens.
These are nonetheless details not yet officially confirmed by Xiaomi, and should therefore be treated with due caution.
