As the first renders of the the first renders of the Galaxy S27 series, with the rectangular island that should characterize the S27 Pro and S27 Ultra, a leak arrives shifting attention to what will be under the hood: the chip Exynos 2700.
The latest updates come from SemiAnalysis: an insider would have published an image that reveals the secrets of the SoC, with a detailed technical analysis. It would be the most complete leak circulated so far about the processor, with data on CPU, GPU, cache and the manufacturing process.
Exynos 2700: what the SemiAnalysis leak reveals

According to the analysis, Exynos 2700 would adopt a 10-core CPU configuration rather unusual, with two primary Arm C2 Ultra cores (at 4.24 GHz and 3.36 GHz), flanked by four cores C2 Pro at 3.74 GHz and another four C2 Pro cores at 2.88 GHz.
On the graphics front, the chip would mount the GPU Xclipse 970, based on the architecture AMD RDNA 5, with 8 Workgroup Processors (WGP) and 16 Compute Units. To complete the picture there would be a generous cache: 24 MB of system-level cache plus four L3 cache banks of 4 MB each, for a total of 40 MB combined.
The chip would be manufactured by Samsung Foundry on the node SF2P, the company’s second generation 2-nanometer process. For memory, Exynos 2700 would support four LPDDR6 controllers at 64 bits, while — as already happened with Exynos 2600 — it would not include a modem: 5G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and NFC connectivity would remain to be handled by separate external chips.
Also according to the analysis, the 40 MB of combined cache of Exynos 2700 would place it above the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 (24 MB) and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, but below the Apple A19 Pro (54 MB) and essentially in line with the Xiaomi XRING O3.
Compared to the future Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, the chip would have a purported advantage in both CPU and GPU workloads, even though this is a projection and not a verified direct comparison on real hardware.
Which Galaxy S27 models would it be destined for
The upcoming Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27+ would be the models destined for the new proprietary chip, with a launch expected in early 2027 (probably February). It is a detail that sits alongside, without overlapping entirely, what we reported in the past few days about a possible return of Exynos 2700 on the Galaxy S27 Ultra, with a hypothesis of market-differentiated distribution.
