There’s renewed talk about the Honor Magic 9 lineup, due to arrive by the end of the year — apparently in October. This time there will be three devices, at least according to rumors, and among the novelties a curious feature also emerges. In addition to having aspirations as a Camera Phone, this generation would aim to improve productivity by introducing the support for the stylus – with a brand-new stylus equipped with AI-powered features.
The Honor Magic 9 series will support a new AI-powered stylus: here are the latest rumors about the future of the series

This is the first time we’re hearing about the Honor flagship line and the inclusion of a stylus, a feature that could actually entice users.
In the past there has been talk of a possible cancellation of Samsung’s S Pen, and yet the Asian tech giant has not yet dared to touch this accessory – whose imagery is now closely tied to the Galaxy S Ultra. The most it has done is remove the digitizer from the Galaxy Z Fold series, in order to have a thinner and lighter design.
However the Ultra lineup still holds up and it is likely that the next flagship model will be equipped with this gadget.
As for the Chinese manufacturer, there are still several unknowns: it remains to be seen whether the new Magic Pen will be dedicated to the entire series or only to Honor Magic 9 Pro and the newly added Magic 9 Pro Max; moreover there is talk of a stylus but it is likely to be a separate accessory and not an integrated solution in the chassis – as with the Galaxy S Ultra.
The stylus would be equipped with AI-powered functions and it would arrive with deep integration with numerous third-party productivity software.
What do we know about the new Magic 9
The rumors about the series are certainly not lacking: the smallest member of the family, Magic 9 “plain” should have a smaller display and offer a compact form factor. However it would not give up an extra-large battery; the real compromise would be another: the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 instead of the future flagship chipset from Qualcomm.
As anticipated above, this year the family should expand with Magic 9 Pro Max: it would be the true Camera Phone of the series, with a 200 MP dual camera, LOFIC HDR and a large display.
