More and more smartphone manufacturers are betting on silicon-carbon Battery Phones: in the West the phenomenon is still limited, but in China the 10,000 mAh have been surpassed (indeed, they have even debuted in the flagship category). The upcoming Honor Power 3 aims to offer even more, according to the latest rumors, with a colossal battery and a 3 nm chipset destined for the mid-range.
Battery Phone fever continues: new leaks about Honor Power 3 push it higher

The Chinese company began experimenting with Si-Ca batteries as early as the Magic lineup, but the real turning point arrived with the first Honor Power. The device surfaced with “only” 8,000 mAh but paved the way for a second chapter with 10,080 mAh.
The successor, Honor Power 3, is expected to raise the bar: initial estimates spoke of a gigantic 15,000 mAh battery. However, the more recent rumors seem to scale back its capacity, while still remaining close to a number of considerable magnitude.
According to Digital Chat Station, we should find on board a unit of 11,000 mAh or even 12,000 mAh, equipped with a Flat LTPS 6.8″ diagonal display, 1.5K resolution and a protective glass with a slight 2.5D curvature.
At the helm would be the Dimensity 8600 by MediaTek, still unreleased but already making headlines in tech circles: rumors talk of a mid-range SoC built with a 3 nm production path (usually reserved for premium chips).
As for the launch, we must wait since the current Power 2 was launched in January. The next Honor Power 3 should see the light in December or at the latest early 2027, so there is still quite a long time for leaks and confirmations.
