The Honor Number series has always been among the most appreciated by users, both for value for money and for the elegance that characterizes devices in the family. The launch of the new Honor 600 and 600 Pro doesn’t miss a beat from a technical and aesthetic standpoint, with a pair of smartphones destined not to go unnoticed. Waiting for the official debut in Italy (the phones have already been announced globally) we take the opportunity to offer you a comparison with all the differences.
What changes between Honor 600 and 600 Pro: all the differences between the new smartphones
Design: a comparison
The starting point cannot be anything but design, the love-hate of the brand’s enthusiasts (and Chinese technology in general). Usually Honor aims for a refined aesthetic, and in this case too the goal has been reached, even if some might not appreciate the excessive inspiration.
We recall Honor 400 for its asymmetric camera, an unusual choice in a landscape dominated by devices often identical. The Honor 500 range (unreleased in Italy) changed the game with a new look: a horizontal capsule-shaped camera, clearly inspired by the iPhone Air.
With Honor 600 and 600 Pro, the company changes approach again but still looking toward Cupertino: the camera module becomes a huge rectangular island, nodding to the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max. The all-new orange color is inspired by Apple; the US company is always attentive to color choices and every year offers tones that can be elegant and understated, or flashy and refined like Cosmic Orange.
The rest of the design of the new Honor devices includes a display with ultra-thin bezels and a tiny punch-hole for the selfie camera, flat edges, rounded corners, and a new customizable AI button (which sits alongside the power button and the volume rocker).
The only visible difference is represented by the cameras, a triple module for the Honor 600 Pro and a dual camera for its smaller brother.
Both phones mount a 6.57″ AMOLED display: the latest devices in the series launched in Italy, the Honor 400 and 400 Pro, offer screens of 6.55″ and 6.7″, but now things have changed. The compact standard that offers the best balance between viewing space and physical space under the chassis is the 6.5″ one.
Both models align perfectly with the new strategy of the Chinese manufacturers for 2026, offering a manageable form factor but without compromising on essentials such as display, battery, performance, and cameras.
Specifications and price comparison
The hardware is entrusted entirely to Qualcomm with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and the Snapdragon 8 Elite. The former is a mid-range chipset for smooth performance in every situation, while the latter is the former flagship SoC of the manufacturer. This means higher performance, a top-tier GPU (with ray tracing) and more resources for on-device artificial intelligence.
The 7,000 mAh battery is a silicon-carbon unit that keeps the profile slender, at only 7.8 mm. The 80W charging keeps you up and running quickly, while the Pro model adds support for wireless charging as well. We note the presence of reverse charging, a feature that pairs perfectly with the new high-density batteries – which turn the phone into an emergency power bank.
Regarding the cameras, both offer a main sensor of 200 MP (likely Samsung HP3) and an ultra-wide. The difference lies in the Pro model, which adds a periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom.

Conclusions and where to buy
Our overview of Honor 600 and 600 Pro highlights two very interesting smartphones both in design and in technical terms. Objectively we’re dealing with a solid aesthetic: tastes are sacred, and yet, looking at the phones from the outside, it’s hard not to recognize their strengths.
The style is elegant but not excessive; the orange color is striking but not kitschy, and the compact form factor is balanced. The choice between one or the other is driven purely by the best hardware (chipset, wireless charging and telephoto) and, consequently, by the final price.
Anyone aiming for a balanced phone can safely opt for the Honor 600, while the more demanding will necessarily look to the bigger Pro brother. Regarding the final price, it’s better to wait for the debut on the Honor Store: knowing the brand, it is very likely we’ll have a good launch offer.
Anyway, it’s worth remembering that we’re in the midst of the memory shortage crisis (driven by AI and data centers), which has pushed prices up sharply with major manufacturers trying to curb increases as best they can.
