Periodically there is talk about the cancellation of the CIVI series, Xiaomi’s line dedicated to lightweight devices focused on the camera department (but with an eye mainly on the female audience). This time as well it seems the gap has been closed — or rather there was never any danger: first rumors about Xiaomi CIVI 6 Pro have begun and they are starting to outline what we can expect in terms of features and photographic capabilities.
Xiaomi CIVI 6 Pro incoming: first leaks on the upcoming affordable Camera Phone

Remember that the current CIVI 5 Pro was launched last May in China and does not have an international counterpart. There has often been talk of a base variant, but in the end the device has remained solo: almost certainly the same will happen with the new generation.
Consequently we can already start calling it Xiaomi CIVI 6 Pro, also in light of the leaked features. According to the latest updates from various Chinese insiders, the smartphone would feature the addition of a customizable AI button but the related functionalities are not clear.
For the cameras, expectations are high again: the main sensor would be 200 MP, accompanied by a telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. Given past history, we can also expect Leica lenses and a 50 MP front camera with autofocus. We will probably have a dual front camera setup, but for now it has not yet been “confirmed”.
Among other specs there is an improved performance with the Snapdragon 8 Elite (compared to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 of CIVI 5 Pro) while the display would be an AMOLED unit with micro-curvature, LIPO technology (for ultra-thin bezels) and a diagonal of 6.59″.
In the past the CIVI series has arrived in Global markets as part of the brand’s regular lineup: will 2026 be the year of the Xiaomi 17 Lite?
