Mijia, the smart home appliances brand from Xiaomi, expands its catalog with Mijia Ceiling Fan With Light, a ceiling fan that integrates a full-spectrum lighting system and a high-performance DC motor.
The product aims to unite year-round climate comfort and lighting designed to adapt to the different moments of the day, all with a feature that sets it apart from traditional ceiling fans: the blades can retract with a single touch, transforming the device into a “simple” chandelier.
Xiaomi Mijia Ceiling Fan With Light: full-spectrum lighting and DC motor

The integrated lighting system covers a color temperature range from 2,700 to 5,700 K, with an average illuminance of at least 300 lux and an illumination uniformity of at least 0.7. The color rendering index (Ra) reaches 97, with a Color Quality Scale of 96 and a UGR index below 19 to limit glare. Mijia also states no visible flicker and a blue-light risk classification RG0, the lowest level expected.
On the air-movement front, the fan adopts a high-performance DC motor with four preset breeze modes, named Lakeside, Putting Green, Camping and Terraced Fields, designed to reproduce sensations of ventilation natural differing from one another.
The device supports both direct mode for summer cooling and reverse mode for circulating warm air in winter, and it is equipped with a system of retractable blades that retract with a single touch (via remote control).
Smart features and Sleep mode

Mijia Ceiling Fan With Light connects via HyperOS Connect and is compatible with voice assistants Alexa and Google Assistant, in addition to remote control and dedicated app control. There is also a Sleep mode that automatically adjusts airflow based on detected body temperature.
The product measures 410 x 280 mm, weighs about 4.3 kg, is available in the color White and is intended for indoor use only. For installation, a minimum ceiling height of 2.6 meters from the floor is required, with a minimum blade clearance of 2.33 meters and a minimum distance of 0.5 meters from the nearest wall relative to the outer edge of the blades.
Price and availability
The new Mijia ceiling fan is currently listed on Xiaomi’s global site, but is not yet available in Europe, and no official price has been announced yet.
As a rough reference, the device lists at around $80 on Alibaba, a figure that does not represent an official sale price and may not reflect what will be applied on individual markets once the launch is confirmed.
