A few weeks ahead of the series’ anticipated launch, Xiaomi 18 Pro has appeared in the Geekbench database with the first benchmarks, which would hint at some of the specifications, starting with Qualcomm’s next-generation chipset.
Xiaomi 18 Pro spotted on Geekbench: here are the details of the new flagship Snapdragon (standard version)
The device, identified by the model number M154FF (Chinese variant), would mount the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, a chipset not yet officially announced and the standard version of the SoC seen in the initial benchmarks dedicated to Xiaomi 18 Pro Max (that is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro).
According to the core configuration detected by the test, the processor in its base incarnation would adopt an architecture with 3 efficiency cores up to 3.74 GHz, 3 performance cores up to 4.03 GHz, and 2 main cores up to 5.01 GHz.
The test reportedly returned 2,754 points in single-core and 8,746 points in multi-core, figures that should be considered indicative since this is an unofficial appearance and not yet confirmed by Xiaomi.
A second appearance in the database, identified separately, would report higher scores, equal to 3,220 points in single-core and 9,646 points in multi-core on Geekbench 7, with the same configuration (in this case with the code M610BB). The differences between the two results would be compatible with the use of test units or non-definitive software builds.
The benchmarks also reveal the presence of 16 GB of RAM and Android 17 on the software side, with HyperOS 4.
Based on what emerged from the Geekbench analysis, the chipset would feature an Adreno 845 GPU, unlike the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro, equipped with an Adreno 850 solution. Therefore in terms of specifications, the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Pro Max would have a lot in common, while the main difference would concern the graphics part.
Anyway, we remain awaiting official details: there is not much time left until the launch of the new flagship Snapdragon, scheduled for the Qualcomm Summit on September 22. In the meantime, remember that the release of the Xiaomi flagship series is set for this month in China: Lei Jun’s company has already started to warm up with the first teasers.
