Following the theme “AI Inspired Life“, TCL makes its grand appearance at IFA 2026 showing a rich catalog of innovations focused on entertainment, connectivity and smart home.
The company approaches artificial intelligence not as an abstract milestone, but as a concrete and practical tool, designed to make everyday life smoother and easier.
The Berlin event’s main stars are undoubtedly the new smartphones of the series TCL P80 and the versatile tablets of the family TAB A1, which stand out for their adoption of ultra-high-quality displays and cutting-edge visual technologies designed with eye care in mind.
TCL smartphones and tablets announced at IFA are the best ever
The new range of smartphones brings to market extremely sophisticated devices, led by TCL P80 Ultra and P80 Pro, which stand out for being the first smartphones in the world to mount a display with technology NXTPAPER AMOLED.
The pinnacle of the lineup is represented by the P80 Ultra, a product that boasts a camera system featuring a 50 MP periscope telephoto camera, which offers a 3x optical zoom integrated with optical and electronic image stabilization.
This device features a large 6.83-inch panel with 1.5K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. In terms of processing, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Elite processor, supported by 8 GB of RAM and variants of 256 or 512 GB of storage.
A very useful addition is the physical NXTPAPER Key button, which allows you to instantly switch from the Paper Mode to the Max Ink Mode to avoid eye strain.
Next to it we find the P80 Pro, which retains the same processor, the NXTPAPER AMOLED screen, and a 5,800 mAh battery with 45 W fast charging, also offering a 50 MP main sensor paired with an 8 MP ultra-wide.

To complete the circle, the base TCL P80 model steps in, which at just 7.5 mm thick houses a display AMOLED 1.5K, a chip MediaTek Dimensity 7300, 8 GB of RAM and a 5,000 mAh battery.

These two tablets share the MediaTek Helio G100 processor, 6 GB of physical RAM with the possibility to add 10 GB of virtual RAM, and a 8,000 mAh battery with 20 W charging.
Those who desire a larger working area can opt for the 12.2-inch models, namely the TAB A1 Plus and the TAB A1 Plus NXTPAPER, characterized by a 2.4K resolution and a 3:2 form factor, capable of reaching up to 120 Hz refresh rate.
