Following the Magic 9 series, HONOR has confirmed another product arriving by the end of the month: Watch 6 Pro. The smartwatch, which keeps a similar design language to the previous model, will make its official debut on September 28, with a focus on heart monitoring and blood pressure monitoring.
HONOR Watch 6 Pro in the first official images: launch in September with the Magic 9 series
From an aesthetic standpoint, the new Pro model will be offered in two variants similar to what happened with HONOR Watch 6 standard. The first follows the classic look with a brown strap, while the second introduces a sportier design, with a bright yellow color and a slim bezel around the display.
The device retains the dual rotating crown on the left side of the case, while on the right side there could be a button dedicated to quick health status control. However the images do not show this hypothetical button, so it’s a detail to be taken with caution.
Cardiac arrest and blood pressure: the features at the center of the launch
HONOR Watch 6 Pro will introduce a new system for cardiac arrest monitoring developed by the company, paired with Blood Pressure Monitoring 2.0.
At the core of these features is the Smart Eye Sensing technology, which according to HONOR enables a more accurate and detailed health analysis and allows continuous pressure measurement.
The company presents the new model as a true “expert” in cardiac health and blood pressure, capable of generating alerts in case of emergency.
Launched in January in China, Honor Watch GS 5 was the first model to integrate a specific screening for the prevention of sudden cardiac arrest. It is very likely that the new Watch 6 Pro has adopted and further refined this technology.
Additionally, note that the HONOR Watch 6 is equipped with a feature to assess trends in blood pressure, disabled via software for models sold in the European market.
Pre-orders open on official Chinese channels
HONOR has already opened pre-orders for Watch 6 Pro on all major Chinese channels. The official debut is set for September 28 together with the Magic 9 series: it remains to be seen whether the wearable will also find a place here, but for now there are no details.
