After as many as three new foldables and a pair of premium smartwatches, the Asian giant seems ready to beef up even the affordable range of its wearables. The launch of Samsung Galaxy Fit 4 appears to be around the corner, and a new certification confirms what should be the final design of the accessory.

Don’t expect drastic changes, at least as far as the design is concerned: Samsung’s fitness tracker will arrive with the usual rectangular form factor, with a lateral button, at least according to the FCC.
The device appeared under the code SM-R391 and an illustration showing the back; the sensors and the magnetic charging pins are visible, but nothing else has emerged in terms of design. The certification confirms the presence of Bluetooth 5.4, a step forward compared to the 5.4 version of Galaxy Fit 3.
Launch in September?
At this point it is likely that the launch is planned for September, perhaps alongside other upcoming hardware news. Samsung is preparing the launch of Galaxy S26 FE and the tablet lineup Tab S12, so the fitness tracker may find space.
No Wear OS
Clearly we will be dealing with the budget offering of Samsung’s wearable family, and we assume a familiar approach. Samsung Galaxy Fit 4 will feature an operating system based on RTOS, while Google’s software is reserved only for the higher-end models.
We expect an AMOLED display of at least 1.61 inches or larger, a IP68-rated chassis with resistance up to 5 ATM, and plenty of battery life. The current Fit 3 offers fall detection and SOS mode (by pressing the side button 5 times) while for the successor we hope for the addition of built-in GPS — fingers crossed!
