To the great surprise of its fans, who had initially been advised not to expect further news for this year, the London-based company Nothing has announced the imminent arrival of a new product
Through a short promotional video published on its social channels, the company has dispelled any doubts about its upcoming TWS earbuds in the budget range.
The event for the general public is scheduled for July 7, when at 12:00 Italian time the new Nothing ear (3a) will be officially unveiled.
The Nothing ear (3a) will arrive next week

The video shared by the company still maintains strict confidentiality about the exact shapes of the earbuds, avoiding a clear and complete image of the design. However, the video offers substantial confirmation regarding the color palette that will be available to buyers.
The Nothing ear (3a) will arrive on shelves in four color variants: black, white, pink and yellow. These are the same aesthetic finishes already introduced on the Nothing Headphone (a), a detail that suggests a strong continuity within the brand’s hardware catalog.
The Ear buds line has a remarkable historical importance for the company: it was the very first marketed product, preceding even the entry into the smartphone sector. From the outset, these accessories have made transparent aesthetics their distinguishing trait.
Even if explicit visual confirmations are currently lacking, it is plausible that this famous stylistic identity will be maintained, while embracing greater vibrancy thanks to the new colors.
Expectations and price range
The rumors that surfaced online in the weeks prior to the official announcement indicate that the new headphones will maintain a clearly accessible positioning. The unofficial information suggests a selling price that should hover around the $99 mark (which could become 99 euros in Italy), confirming the company’s intention to target the low end of the audio market.
The technical details, as well as any possible novelties in terms of functionality or ergonomics compared to previous generations, remain unknown for now.
Users’ expectations are nonetheless high, considering that the company’s previous model of budget earbuds, released during 2024, had recorded an extremely positive response among buyers.
A debut in tandem with the new smartphone
One particularly interesting detail of the whole marketing operation concerns the methods used to produce the video itself.
The management has indeed specified that the entire clip published on the X platform was recorded using the Nothing Phone (4b), an unreleased smartphone whose commercial debut will take place during the same event on July 7.
Although the short video’s nature does not allow definitive conclusions about the specifications of the camera system, the images show a good ability to capture sharp video even in low ambient light.
July 7 is therefore set to be a pivotal day for the company’s ecosystem, which will lift the curtain on both a new smartphone and unreleased earbuds, expanding its offering.
