Pixel 11 Pro XL, the trio of renders for Google’s upcoming smartphones completed

Following recent rumors regarding the base models and Pro, the week ends with the release of the first renders of the highly anticipated Pixel 11 Pro XL.

The images, based on industrial CAD files, confirm an aesthetic line that strongly continues the trend set by the two younger siblings, primarily distinguished by the more generous dimensions, and with the models from the previous series.

The dominant rear design element remains the iconic camera block, featuring three sensors, presented with a bold all-black band surrounded by the main color of the chassis.

It is important to note that the colors shown at this preliminary stage are not final, as the 3D models used for early production of covers and accessories only provide exact dimensions, the position of the volume and the power buttons, leaving out aesthetic details, colors, or secondary hardware elements such as the SIM card tray.

The Pixel 11 Pro XL measures 162.7 x 76.5 x 8.5 mm. Compared to the previous Pixel 10 Pro XL, the new dimensions indicate a slightly smaller thickness, height and width, albeit by tiny fractions of a millimeter, effectively keeping an overall footprint almost identical to the past.

The front will be dominated by an LTPO AMOLED panel of 6.8 inches, a conservative choice but fully in line with the rest of the market.

Inside there will be room for the new proprietary processor Google Tensor G6. Rumors point to a seven-core architecture paired with a MediaTek M90 modem, an engineering configuration designed to ensure efficiency and stable performance in everyday use.

The Mountain View company seems intent on confirming the adoption of 16 GB of RAM, accompanied by a starting storage space of 256 GB.

However, the recent rise in memory component costs could push the company to opt for a base RAM cut to 12 GB RAM, a financial move designed solely to keep retail prices down. Supporting the entire hardware will be a 5500 mAh battery.

Prices and release

The commercial debut of the Pixel 11 series is expected in the month of August 2026, confirming the usual time window adopted by the company for the last two generations of devices.

This timing will allow Google to strategically position itself right after the release of the new South Korean foldables, notably the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide, and to anticipate the traditional autumn unveiling of Cupertino’s rivals.

Since there are still about four months until the official announcement, pricing policy remains a variable factor. The previous Pixel 10 Pro XL launched at starting price of €1299, and projections for the new model range from keeping the same exact figure to a possible $100 increase for the US market, which could translate to a €100 increase in Italy.
