The insider Onleaks returns to talk about Samsung and once again does so with images: the insider has published the first renders dedicated to Galaxy Z Fold 8, previewing the design of the next foldable. The flagship is expected for the summer months, yet we already know almost everything — clearly this is an overview based on leaks. Here’s what to expect from the next generation, both technically and aesthetically!
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 should be the summer’s foldable, and yet almost everything leaks far in advance

As usual when we’re dealing with Onleaks, remember that these are not leaked press renders but concepts created based on the previews received from the insider.
The new foldable would arrive with a body measuring 158.4 x 143.2 x 4.5 mm (open) and 158.4 x 72.8 x 9 mm (closed), slightly larger than those of Z Fold 7. Or these are approximate numbers, or the leaker proposes an alternative explanation, namely the return of the S Pen support (and thus the digitizer).

Speaking of the design, the renders of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 do not hold surprises: the look is very close to that of the predecessor, with a book-style foldable, an external 6.5″ display and an internal 8″ display. Samsung would have definitively abandoned the under-display selfie camera (internal) in favor of a punch-hole — more convenient from a production, technical and economic standpoint.
The big novelty is represented by the battery: there will finally be a leap forward with a 5,000 mAh unit and even the charging will promise pleasant surprises (45W, apparently).

The camera system would still rely on a 200 MP sensor but finally it will leave behind the 12 MP ultra-wide in favor of a new 50 MP module. The price to pay would be the telephoto, which would remain at 10 MP — still according to leaks so far.
The debut of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 is scheduled for the summer, probably in July. The price should not rise: leaks speak of a starting figure of $1,999, thus similar to that of the predecessor. In Italy it could translate to €2,199 for the 12/256 GB model, in line with the Z Fold 7’s list price.
