It was only a matter of time: the YouTube channel JerryRigEverything has published durability tests dedicated to the new Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. Once again we are dealing with extreme tests that push various aspects of the flagship to the limit. How did the Camera Phone perform? Lete9s find out together, and theree9s also the video showing the feats of the new arrival.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra tortured by JerryRigEverything: durability tests to probe every aspect of the Camera Phone

As is tradition for the channel, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is subjected to a series of extreme durability tests that include scratches, burns, and bending attempts to assess its overall robustness.
During the scratch test, it becomes evident that the Corning Gorilla Armor 2 glass behaves differently from standard expectations; although it usually shows marks at Mohs hardness level 6, on this model scratches at that level are extremely difficult to spot, suggesting an improvement in the material’s composition. Even with deeper level-7 scratches, the under-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor continues to function correctly.
One particular aspect analyzed is the display with privacy mode, which reduces the viewing angle from 80 to 45b0. The feature, however, affects visual performance, reducing the maximum brightness by 2,600 nit and the original resolution when active.
As for the S Pen, the test shows that it is thinner than in the past and that, although it has lost Bluetooth functionality and wireless charging capability, it has the advantage of no longer getting stuck if inserted backward in its slot.
The phone’s chassis returns to aluminum instead of titanium, a choice that does not compromise sturdiness but facilitates recycling. In the test, the display withstands the flame from a lighter for about 20 seconds without permanently damaging pixels.
A notable novelty concerns the camera module: the glass on the lenses is now removable and replaceable more easily, a feature that enables inexpensive repairs in case of breakage 7 without compromising the IP68 waterproof rating. Finally, in the bending test, the device proves to be extremely solid, showing no bending or structural failure whether bent from the front or from the back.
