Google takes another step forward in the field of music, a few weeks after the release of its music generation model introduced within Gemini. Lyria 3 is now Pro and moves from being a simple demonstration to a real service to create complete songs: not only AI-generated music and lyrics, but also a longer duration.
Lyria 3 Pro: all the updates on Google’s new music generation model
The big news of Lyria 3 Pro is represented by the extended duration of the tracks: now the model can generate music up to 3 minutes (maximum quality), with a significant increase compared to the 30 seconds of the base version. Unfortunately, everything has a price: the Pro service is not included in the free plan but is included in the subscriptions Google AI Plus, Pro or Ultra.
The rest of the features remain unchanged, with the ability to generate high-quality music (maximum with Pro), transform a photo or a video into a track, and download the file in MP3 and MP4 formats.
The release of Lyria 3 Pro happened in the last few hours and is progressively reaching all interested markets (the roll-out will be completed by the end of the week). Accessing the service is very simple: just select the “Create music” option in the Gemini tool menu; if the account has a Premium subscription enabled then the 3 Pro version will be immediately available.
