Over a month after its first appearance, Redmi A7 Pro continues to receive certifications from various bodies around the world. This means only one thing, especially after a period of silence: the launch seems right around the corner, and the small Redmi could really be Xiaomi’s first budget phone for 2026.
Many certifications for Redmi A7 Pro: will it be Xiaomi’s budget phone at the start of the year?

The new certifications do not provide additional details, but in any case the phone appears under its commercial name. Redmi A7 Pro is on the way, and one of the latest documents confirms the device’s low-budget 4G nature. Like its predecessor, it will be a phone with LTE-only connectivity, a detail that should make the price even more accessible.
Meanwhile it seems the smartphone will arrive in some markets like POCO C81: nothing unusual, the relationship between the two Xiaomi brands is very close and last Redmi A5 debuted in certain countries as POCO C71. In Italy we expect the budget phone to arrive under the Redmi banner – even though the final word always lies with the Chinese company.
Redmi A7 Pro does not yet have a release date: given the high number of certifications we hypothesize the global launch is planned around late February. For the price we can guess a figure below €100 since the current A5 was announced in Italy at only €79.9.
